Home construction or residential construction is the process of constructing a house, generally referred to as a ‘home’ when giving consideration to the people who might now or someday reside there. Beginning with simple pre-historic shelters, home construction techniques have evolved to produce the vast multitude of living accommodations available today. Different levels of wealth and power have warranted various sizes, luxuries, and even defenses in a “home”. Environmental considerations and cultural influences have created an immensely diverse collection of architectural styles, creating a wide array of possible structures for homes.

Our homes are designed with easy and convenient accessibility, so those with physical or mental issues may live the fullest lives possible.

The relationship and trust between FBL and our future home clientele is a critical component of our mission. We have specific content knowledge and respect in a the field of accessibility and can help build trust. Another way to build this trust is through confidentiality. In addition to relationship building, it is important to know that our clients can talk about anything. Starting this conversation is also important to relationship building.

Our approach to resolving fundamental trust problems within our company is to build trust amongst team members. FBL can build trust by talking with our friends, family, and clients, and helping them feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance from us so that they are more familiar and comfortable with our process. This may include questions such as “Could you teach me how to do this?” or statements like “You are better than me at this”. However, in order to achieve vulnerability-based trust within the team, we must be vulnerable first.

Volunteering with FBL is a voluntary act of an individual or group freely giving time and labor for our community services. Many volunteers are specifically trained in the areas they work, such as medicine, education, or emergency rescue. Others serve on an as-needed basis, such as in response to a natural disaster.
